Molecular Biology Internship, Sackler Institute for Comparative Genomics
The Global Felid Genetics Program at the Sackler Institute for Comparative Genomics is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student intern for the Summer 2013. Interns will:
- Be part of an innovative, professional team of conservation biologists
- Gain experience with current conservation genetic techniques
- Be exposed to data analysis and theoretical principles of
- Conservation genetics
- Population genetics
- Conservation biology
Applications should have the following qualifications:
- Knowledge/background in molecular biology
- Be highly motivated and organized
- Be able to commit to a work schedule of at least 10 – 12 hours/week or more for 2 – 3 months during the summer of 2013
- Have a focus/interest within fields of conservation and molecular biology
- Be an undergraduate or graduate student (or hold an undergraduate or graduate degree)
