On Wednesday, April 30, the American Museum of Natural History will host the Annual Spring Environmental Lecture and Luncheon. This year, we are particularly excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Museum’s Center for Biodiversity and Conservation (CBC), which has advanced environmental understanding and biodiversity research and conservation around the world since its founding. This panel discussion, moderated by Lynn Sherr of ABC News’ “20/20,” will celebrate the past 20 years of the environmental conservation movement while considering new strategies for the future. As part of the luncheon, we will also recognize Dr. Eleanor Sterling for her visionary leadership as director of the CBC.
With an established tradition of education and outreach, the Annual Spring Environmental Lecture and Luncheon brings the latest information on important current issues. One of the Museum’s most successful and widely anticipated annual events, it showcases the Museum’s commitment to environmental research, education, and conservation. Join us in celebrating this important and informative Museum event.
