Behind the Scenes in Anthropology

Come explore food vessels, utensils, farm tools, and harvest celebration costumes from cultures around the globe with Museum anthropologists. Among other topics, learn about one culture’s view of a “balanced diet” using Tibetan medical tangkas, see Northwest Coast Indian feast vessels, and discuss New Guinea yam harvests and yam masks. Recommended for ages 11 and older.
