Birding and Wine-tasting in Basha Kill

Paul Sweet, collections manager in the Department of Ornithology, leads this expedition to a bird-watching site in Sullivan County, New York. Basha Kill Wildlife Management Area is home to almost 200 species of birds, including the bald eagle and wild turkey. Following the bird walk, Members are invited to have their lunch at the Basha Kill Winery, and learn about their organic vineyard production.
Fee includes transportation by private coach; travel time about 1.5 hours each way.
Not recommended for children.
