Birding in Prospect Park

Prospect Park Lullwater

Join Museum ornithologist Paul Sweet to look for birds on their fall migration as they pass through Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. We will explore the park’s birding hot spots such as Lookout Hill, the Peninsula, the Lullwater, the Midwood, the Vale of Cashmere, and Prospect Lake. Early October is a particularly good time to observe southbound raptors.

Walk goes ahead rain or shine. Dress for the weather and wear clothes that can get dirty for this day of outdoor walking.
