Oyster Bay diorama TR Memorial Hall

This diorama of a bird sanctuary near Roosevelt's Oyster Bay home, Sagamore Hill, is found in the Museum's Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Hall.

Journey on a Member nature excursion to Oyster Bay, one of Theodore Roosevelt’s beloved birdwatching sites. The trip will include visits to the grounds of Roosevelt’s home, Sagamore Hill, and a walk to nearby Cold Spring Harbor; and a visit to the Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary & Audubon Center, which was established in 1923 as the first Audubon Songbird Sanctuary in the nation. There, we will enjoy a live raptor presentation, in addition to exploring the grounds.

Trip includes transportation by private coach from Museum to and from Oyster Bay.
