It took over a year for all the observation data gathered by the New Horizons mission to Pluto to return to Earth via radio signal. Jeff Moore, geology and geophysics imaging team leader for the mission, shares what scientists have learned about this distant dwarf planet during that time. Director of Astrovisualization Carter Emmart will present imaging from the mission using the Museum’s new OpenSpace software.
