This professional day is geared for K-12 teachers who want to strengthen their ability to use Museum resources to teach science. Participants will have the opportunity to choose from a range of breakout sessions that will utilize the Museum’s digital, print, and exhibition resources to connect with the science curriculum in ways that are engaging for students. A presentation by a scientist will explore cutting edge research related to topics that are commonly taught in city schools. Teachers will receive copies of Educator’s Guide for the Museum exhibits they use during the day as well as digital and print resources.

Cost: $35 per participant includes continental breakfast, lunch and Museum resources.
