Financial Support
The following financial supports are available to degree candidates in the MAT program:
- $30,000 stipend over the length of the degree program including health benefits.
Degree candidates are required to teach in high-needs schools in New York State for four years after completing the program.
- Scholarship to cover tuition.
Funding for the MAT program is provided in part by the New York State Education Department and the National Science Foundation’s Discovery Research K-12 (DR K-12) program, Grant #DRL-0918560.
