Seminars on Science is currently registering students for the Winter semester. Designed for K-12 educators, courses include an integrated science course on The Ocean System, as well as Space, Time and Motion, Earth: Inside and Out, The Diversity of Fishes and Genetics, Genomics, Genethics.
Each six-week course immerses the learner in an area of contemporary research. Courses are taught and led by Museum scientists and educators and feature rich web-based discussions. They are easy to use and flexible enough to fit into a teacher's busy schedule. Graduate credit is available from a number of major institutions and may meet your local professional development requirements. Winter courses run from January 16 - February 26. Registration closes January 5, 2006.
