WHAT ARE THE CONNECTIONS?
What makes the world tick for ticks? Students investigate the complex interactions between plants, arthropods, and the abiotic factors at their field site. The "Web of Life" game helps students conceptualize the interconnectedness of all life on Earth, and the importance of preserving biodiversity. Then they'll look back at observations already recorded to frame a new study focused on these interactions; after gathering data, they will graph and analyze it, understanding the myriad interactions within a biodiverse community.
