You must find out if El Niño will happen, so you can give this information to farmers, fishermen, and forest rangers.

1. To start, click on the arrow in the spinner. You will move forward the number that the spinner indicates. If you land on a forward arrow, when you spin again, you will move forward. If you land on a backward arrow, when you spin again, you will move backward. Forward arrows are events that would indicate an El Niño year. Backward arrows are events that would indicate a normal year.
   
   
2. If you land on a question mark, you must answer the question before you can spin again. For help answering the questions click on the HINTS button. If you answer the question correctly, you can spin again and move forward. If you answer the question incorrectly, you spin again and move backward.
