Many of the fossils in this exhibition were recovered during the Mongolian Academy of Sciences-American Museum of Natural History expeditions, ongoing since 1990. The Museum especially acknowledges the collaboration and support of Dr. D. Dashzeveg, expedition co-leader; Dr. R. Barsbold, Director, Institute of Geology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences; Dr. T. Galbaatar, General Secretary; and Dr. B. Chaadra, President, Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
Your support of Fighting Dinosaurs helps the American Museum of Natural History fund important scientific work, including ongoing field research in paleontology in the Gobi Desert and other locations around the world. This exhibition is the result of that work, and it continues the Museum's great paleontological fieldwork begun over a century ago by Museum scientists.
This exhibition is made possible through the support of The Lila Wallace-Reader's Digest Endowment Fund.
