Mars Plane

Mars Plane AR

NASA scientists have proposed sending a robotic plane to Mars like the one in this animation. Rovers on Mars have already sent back crucial data about the red planet but they move slowly and can't cover much ground. This plane could survey hundreds of miles of the Martian surface, send back information on the composition of the atmosphere and help look for signs of water--and possibly life.
