Great Lakes Science Center

The Great Lakes Science Center is the premier informal science education resource for Northeast Ohio and beyond. Located on the shores of Lake Erie in Cleveland Ohio, the Great Lakes Science Center's mission is to demonstrate the intersection of science, environment and technology. More than 400 interactive exhibits, daily live science demonstrations, themed traveling exhibitions, an OMNIMAX Theater and the Steamship William G Mather Museum help further this mission on a daily basis, in addition to educational programming onsite and in the community. Most recently, the Great Lakes Science Center has added advanced energy to Cleveland's skyline with a 150-foot wind turbine and a solar array canopy.

"The Great Lakes Science Center is honored to collaborate with such high-caliber partners to bring Water: H2O = Life to life. We are fortunate to have one of the Great Lakes--Lake Erie--as the backdrop to our building. In this way, we are obligated to increase awareness of the power and value of this great resource, as well as communicate the importance of stewardship. This traveling exhibition will help strengthen our mission."
