Dandy Masquerade -- "Big Fish Eating Small Fish with Blood Trailing Down"
Steel, wood, paint, feather dusters, mirrors. 1995
Lent by Hans J. Bogatske

In the cycle of Ekine masquerades, particular players, branches of the Ekine society, families, and whole villages must earn the right to host particular spirits. Stories about the water spirits describe their lives and exploits in a town below the creeks and rivers. The way the spirits are depicted can change, depending on the whim of the spirit and the player's knowledge of its character and history.
