A thrilling journey along the greatest trading route in history--the legendary Silk Road. This exhibition, which took place from November 14, 2009 to August 15, 2010, explored the ancient cities of Asia and the Middle East between AD 600 and 1200, where spectacular sights, exquisite silks, and rousing stories were in abundance.

Travel the Silk Road by clicking on "Take a Journey" on the left side of the page. The first stop: Xi'an. Watch a video of silk worms spinning cocoons.
