This Biodiversity Counts activity has students research 10 arthropods—research that can then be used to develop a classroom Jeopardy-style game (see separate activity). The printable four-page PDF handout includes:
- a series of inquiry-based questions to help students identify what they already know about arthropods and their shared physical and behavioral characteristics, and
- a worksheet that names 10 arthropods and includes areas for students to record their research findings about each one.
