• The Field Trip to the Moon program uses an inquiry-based learning approach that fosters team building and introduces students to careers in science and engineering. The program’s 78-page set of curriculum materials includes:

  • A DVD with an introduction, feature presentation (available with and without narration), and extra materials
  • Six workshop activities—designed to be completed in a single two-and-a-half-hour session—that investigate the Moon’s habitability and sustainable resources
  • Questions to guide the investigations along with worksheets, maps, articles, and other reproducibles
  • A table showing correlations to National Science Education Standards
