Neoliberal ideology, human rights, and the economics of fair trade converge in Michelle Aguilar's El Cacao, a look at the chocolate industry. in Rana Jarbou's Hajwalah, a young man’s passion for illegal joyriding provides a novel perspective on life in Riyadh.
This screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and Dr. Pegi Vail, Graduate Program in Culture and Media, NYU.
