The arrival of fall means cool breezes, colorful leaves, and, here at the Museum, the return of the annual Margaret Mead Film Festival, running from October 22 to 25. For more than two decades, the Mead has been a showcase for some of the most exciting documentaries from around the world, and 2015 is no exception.

Tickets go on sale to the public today for the Mead's schedule of 57 films from more than 40 countries, many of which will be making their U.S. premieres at the festival. From the ongoing refugee crisis in Europe to the struggle for sustainability in the islands of the Pacific, from the American Rust Belt to Lithuanian villages, the films at this festival will take you around the world, introducing people, places, and stories that explore this years theme, "Thresholds."
