Tonight, get a rare, behind-the-scenes peek at the workings of the Museum in a new television documentary, Treasures of New York: American Museum of Natural Historyhosted by Tom Brokaw. The one-hour program airs in New York on Thursday, May 2, at 8 pm on WLIW21 and Sunday, May 5, at 7 pm on WNET.

Produced by WLIW21, in association with WNET, the show spotlights recent renovations of two iconic halls within the Museum: the Bernard Family Hall of North American Mammals and the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial—which includes the Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda (pictured below) and the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Hall. The halls officially re-opened in October 2012.
