Labor Day Weekend at the Museum

On Exhibit posts

Sure, fall doesn't technically start until later this month, but let's face it—Labor Day weekend is the last great weekend of the summer.

The forecast isn't looking like barbecue weather here on the East Coast, but don't worry. There's plenty happening in the Museum's halls to keep you occupied for even the longest weekend!

For starters, you can see live crocodiles and amazing American alligator hatchlings in Crocs: Ancient Predators in a Modern World.

In Dinosaurs Among Us, learn about the unbroken lineage that connects prehistoric dinosaurs to the birds in your backyard before they head south for the winter.

And if you're as over this summer-long heat wave as we are, come cool off in the LeFrak Theater with a new giant-screen film all about life that thrives in perpetual ice—Wonders of the Arctic is showing now!

Hope to see you here!
