Akeley Hall of African Mammals

Opened in 1936 and considered one of the world's greatest museum displays, the Akeley Hall of African mammals allows guests to experience the rich tradition of exploration at the Museum as they dine among a herd of elephants, lions, zebras, and mountain gorillas. The twenty-eight dioramas in the hall are true works of art. This unique setting takes guests on a safari through wild Africa.
