Host an Event at the American Museum of Natural History

Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda

Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda

Ascending the grand staircase from Central Park West, guests are greeted by the splendor of marble floors, Corinthian columns, picturesque murals, and a 100-foot vaulted ceiling. The centerpiece of the Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda is the tallest freestanding dinosaur mount in the world. Witness an imagined scene from 65 million years ago as a Barosaurus protects its young from an Allosaurus. Guests are welcomed into the grandeur and excitement of scientific discovery at the Museum in one of New York's most impressive interior spaces.
