Ross MacPhee Discusses the Science and Ethics of De-Extinction at SciCafe

The Museum's after-hours SciCafe series kicked off its 2013 season with a conversation on the science and ethics of de-extinction technologies. Ross MacPhee, a mammalogist and curator in the Museum's Division of Vertebrate Zoology, discussed the amazing but controversial scientific advances that may help to bring about the return of the wooly mammoth, passenger pigeon, and other extinct species.
