Amaze your friends and family as you take control of the Hayden Planetarium, and lead your own tour through the cosmos, using the Museum’s cutting-edge 3D map of universe. In this seven-week course, Brian Abbott and Mark Popinchalk teach you how to use the Digital Universe software, which combines celestial mapmaking with breathtaking and sophisticated data visualization. The course culminates in a live presentation for invited guests.
Note: This course requires the use of computer software to navigate the universe and create flight paths, writing treatments for a public presentation, and delivering a scientifically based tour of the cosmos.
