Fall Early-Morning Bird Walks - Wednesdays
September 4, 2013 - October 23, 2013
Observe the exciting fall migration of birds in Central Park with ornithologist Joseph DiCostanzo. Learn how to use field marks, habitat, and behavior as aids to identification of “confusing fall warblers,” thrushes, sparrows, and raptors, as they pass through New York City en route to their winter homes. Birder field cards included.
Be sure to bring a pair of binoculars and wear comfortable shoes. Please note, this walk is over an hour long with steps, slopes and wood chip paths.
