Reefs Illuminated

In this new film, shown continuously in the GeoDome theater, Museum scientists John Sparks, David Gruber, and Vincent Pieribone take a journey to the remote South Pacific coral reefs of the Solomon Islands to explore newly discovered biofluorescent species of fishes and stingrays, along with biofluorescent corals, crinoids, anemones, and other glowing invertebrates.
Reefs Illuminated premieres at 11 am during the Milstein Science Series: Island Life program on Sunday, April 14, and will run continuously that day until 4 pm. (From April 15 to Friday, May 3, the film will be shown during Museum hours.)
