Sally Ride: America’s First Woman in Space With Lynn Sherr
June 14, 2014
Join award-winning author and journalist Lynn Sherr for a lecture on her latest book, Sally Ride: America's First Woman in Space. Sherr draws on her thirty-year friendship with Ride, her work covering NASA in the 1980s as a star reporter for ABC, and exclusive access to Ride’s papers and confidantes to bring to vivid life this extraordinarily gifted, daring, complex, and famously private woman.
A Q&A and book-signing will follow the presentation. Copies of the book will be available for sale.
