Common Core Literacy and Museum Learning Experiences: Pterosaurs
April 22, 2014
In this one day workshop, teachers will explore ways to use the Educator’s Guide for our upcoming special exhibit on Pterosaurs. Participants will visit the exhibit to make curriculum connections and use AMNH resources to strengthen their abilities to teach in the Museum. Conversations with colleagues will help teachers work on differentiating lessons for their students. Teachers will receive copies of a new Educator’s Guide as well as digital and print resources. This workshop addresses Common Core state standards in English Language Arts for non-fiction reading.
