Designing a Field Trip Experience for Elementary School Groups
August 16, 2012
Teachers will engage in pre, during, and post-visit activities to learn how to prepare students for a museum learning experience related to bioluminescence. Participants will view Creatures of Light and The Hall of Ocean Life and use activities from AMNH educator's guides to strengthen their abilities to teach in the Museum. The workshop will include opportunities to learn about the science content presented in the exhibits and to reflect on teaching with colleagues.
