AnthroAdventures: Last Man Standing (Grades 4 & 5)

Why does one species become extinct while another thrives? Explore the skeletons and behaviors of our extinct hominid relatives alongside our living primate cousins. Investigate how natural selection affects survival, and explore the differences between us and our extinct relatives that may have lead to their species’ demise. By examining the unique attributes of each of our relatives, we'll discover just what makes us so special and maybe even what evolution has in store for us in the future.
