Your mission: Travel back in time to investigate what is otherwise impossible or too dangerous to experience. AMNH's world-renowned fossil collections and exhibitions hold the key to understanding prehistoric worlds. In this unique institute, you will resurrect a prehistoric marine animal by designing realistic 3-D digital models and a photo-realistic virtual Cretaceous sea environment. You will meet innovative scientists who will expose you to cutting-edge careers in paleontology, and you will take behind-the-scenes tours of our research departments. In addition, the Virtual Worlds Institute will provide you with valuable information about AMNH's high school internships and research opportunities.
