Whales: From Feet to Flippers (Grades 3, 4 and 5)
October 22, 2013 - November 5, 2013
Have you ever wondered where whales came from? Join us in learning how these spectacular creatures evolved from land mammals, and have adapted so perfectly to their underwater environment. We will visit the new exhibition, Whales: Giants of the Deep, and the fossil halls to explore what traits whales have developed that help them eat, breathe, communicate, and more.
Grades 3, 4 and 5
Three Tuesdays: October 22, 29 and November 5
