Whales: The Ultimate Deep-Sea Adventure (Grades 2/3 and Grades 4/5)

Plunge into the fascinating world of whales! Did you know that whales are mammals that evolved from a land-dwelling animal? In this camp based on the Museum’s special exhibition Whales: Giants of the Deep, you will explore amazing whale adaptations, such as using sound to “see” prey in water. Learn about people whose lives are intertwined with these fascinating animals, including whale scientists and the legendary whale riders of New Zealand.
