Volcanoes are powerful and dangerous natural wonders. They often give warning signs before unleashing a new eruption, but scientists have to be able to interpret those clues to know what might be coming. Join Dr. Patricia Nadeau as she discusses her work as a volcanologist who specializes in volcanic gases, the driving force behind these eruptions. Find out how geologists work towards a better understanding of these natural explosions and the safety hazards posed by studying such dangerous and unpredictable subjects.
