Mechanisms of Evolution - Science Research Course

January 14, 2016 - March 1, 2016

Mechanisms of Evolution

Evolution has given rise to all life on this planet, but do we understand how it works? Uncover the evidence for and mechanisms of evolutionary theory, beginning with the history of the theory itself. With hands-on modeling and research, learn how scientists have organized life on this planet, and see how new technology has changed the way we study the evolutionary relationships between living things.

This course is a pre-requisite for the Museum's Science Research Mentoring Program (SRMP) in the Life Sciences track.
