Past Student Projects
Titles of past SRMP student projects conducted in Earth and Planetary Sciences include:
- 3D Analysis of Stardust Track Morphology Using Laser Confocal Scanning Microscopy
- Geochemical analysis of high-pressure-low-temperature and low-pressure-low-temperature metabasaltic rocks from the Motagua Fault Zones
Required Courses
Students interested in conducting research in Planetary Sciences can qualify to apply to SRMP by taking three of the following Science Research courses in the After School Program. Students must take:
- Dynamic Earth
Students must complete two additional courses from those listed below:
- Stars
- Wonderful Universe
- Secrets of the Solar System
A schedule for the Science Research courses offered in the 2012-13 school year will be available this summer.
