Twinkling Stars: Mythic Creatures in the Sky (Grades Pre-K and K)

You don’t have to go to the zoo to see lions, tigers and bears! Learn how cultures around the world have been spotting animal shapes in the stars throughout history, then see the stars that inspired the stories in the Hayden Planetarium. Make your own constellation model and discover the legends of the night sky!

Two Fridays, 4:30 - 6:00 PM: November 8th and November 15th;
OR
Two Tuesdays, 4:30 - 6:00 PM: December 10th and December 17th;
OR
Two Tuesdays, 4:30 - 6:00 PM: February 4th and 11th.

Please Note: This caregiver-child workshops are structured to provide a unique opportunity for caregiver-child teams to experience science at the Museum and learn together. Each child must be accompanied by one adult. Only a registered child and his/her caregiver may attend with no additional guests.
