Tours

Guideline for Tours
1 Available for groups of 20-60 people
2 The Museum will assign one guide for up to 25 people
3 Your guide(s) will meet the group at the 81st Street Rose Center entrance
4 Your tour will begin promptly at either 11:00am or 2:00pm.
5 All tour requests must be made at least 2 weeks prior to your planned visit.
6 Full payment must be received 2 weeks prior to your visit or your order is subject to cancellation.
7 Only AMNH tour guides are authorized to speak to groups.

Our knowledgeable tour guides lead enlightening and entertaining tours tailored to your groups needs.

We offer two types of private 1-hour guided tours.
Choose from:

  • Highlights Tour, which provides a general overview of the Museum's treasures.

  • Spotlight Tour, which provides an in-depth introduction to one of the Museum's major theme areas or a special exhibition.

A guided tour is only available as part of the SuperSaver admission package.

All tour requests are based upon our guides' availability.
