Shopping at the Museum

The Museum Shop

The first level of the recently renovated Museum Shop (located on the Museum's first floor) contains a wide array of items for children, including books, videos, toys, and t-shirts. The second-floor book balcony houses the most comprehensive collection of natural history books in New York City, along with a large selection of videotapes. The third level features a broad selection of merchandise with themes related to human cultures, the natural world, and the universe.

The Planetarium Shop in the Rose Center for Earth and Space

The Planetarium Shop, featuring gifts, scientific instruments, and other merchandise relating to space themes, is located on the lower level of the Rose Center.

Other shops at the Museum

Other stores within the Museum include: the Satellite Shop in the Rose Center; Dinostore and More on the fourth floor; 77th Street kiosk; and the Butterfly Shop outside The Butterfly Conservatory.
