Vestimentiferan Tube Worms are one of the most abundant and best understood of the animals that live in deep-sea hydrothermal vent communities. This field of Vestimentiferan Tube Worms growing on pieces of pillow lava was taken by observers in the submersible ALVIN on the Endeavor Segment of the Juan de Fuca Ridge (47¡57' N,129¡6' W).
