Denise UngerDenise Unger

Grades 11-12

Denise is a science educator in New York City, teaching Regents-level Environmental Science to grades 9-12. She is currently finishing a masterŐs degree in Teaching Biology at Iona College. Denise is excited to be starting her career as an educator and to be sharing the excitement of science with others. As an environmental science educator she is able to integrate many facets of science into the classroom, including the authentic research experiences of the REVEL program. Denise looks forward to sharing her experiences on board the Thompson with her students.
