Archaeoogy is the study of how people lived in the past. Archaeologists examine the buildings, artifacts, settlements, and even the bones that people left behind. These clues help us put together a picture of what life was like a long time ago.

For example, I study the ancient Zapotec people who lived more than 2,000 years ago in Oaxaca, Mexico. I am interested in how the Zapotecs created one of the earliest civilizations in Mexico.
