Small Matters: Microbes and their Role in Conservation brought together scientists from the traditionally disparate fields of microbiology and conservation to discuss this intersection that, until now, had not been considered in depth.  In addition to talks and panel discussion these issues were explored in the symposium's poster session.  Poster abstracts follow.
