Coming from a background in classical archaeology, Chantal-Marie pursued graduate work in Museum Studies, with a focus on archives and collections management. She has completed previous archival projects for the Museum of Florida History and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, working with diverse collections including historic costumes, digital photography, and documentary films. Chantal-Marie also enjoys organizing people and has worked as a volunteer coordinator and college instructor. Currently she is a database assistant for the Thematic Collections Network Tri-Trophic Databasing project, where she is happy to combine her museum experience with a deep love of science. Her research interests include developing systems that enable museums to present themselves not only as scientific collections but also as a distinct form of art.
