Research Interests

Pamela Horsley is the Scientific Assistant for the scorpion and other non-spider arachnids, as well as the RINMS (Recent Invertebrate Non-Mollusks) collections. She completed her M.Sc. in Entomology at McGill University in 2009 with a focus on systematics of broad-nosed weevils (Coleoptera: Curculionidae, Entiminae). Pamela previously worked at the Canadian Museum of Nature and most recently was Entomology Collection Manager at the San Diego Natural History Museum. Her field experience has so far been focused in Mexico and the south-western U.S. She is interested in collections management and is the lead organizer of the annual Entomological Collections Network (ECN) meeting.
