Patricia Malkin began her volunteer services at the AMNH in May 1997 painting and constructing the world reknowned Biodiversity exhibit. In 1998, she joined Vladimir Ovtsharenko and Boris Zakharov to illustrate spiders for the project “Ground spiders of Australia & New Zealand,” which will eventually include spiders from around the world.
