Born and raised in Chicago, Brenmar now lives in New York City. Last year, his self-released “High End Times Vol. 1”—one of SPIN’s Best Overlooked Albums of 2014—put him in the spotlight. For his first official EP, “Award,” Brenmar entrusted the 2015 project to his friend A-Trak, founder of Brooklyn-based Fool’s Gold Records.
DJ Ayres, support
DJ Ayres is one half of the Brooklyn-based DJ crew The Rub. Running for over 10 years, The Rub has been called NYC’s “Best Party” by New York Magazine, The Village Voice, and New York Press. DJ Ayres has toured with A-Trak, Ghostface, and Bun B.
Musician and producer Dunes began crafting dance music shortly before moving to Brooklyn in the summer of 2011. Since then, he has released original tunes on Brooklyn’s Trouble & Bass, Astro Nautico, Freshmore Records, and Symbols Recordings. Aside from his own productions, Dunes founded Brooklyn’s dance party Broke City, where he, Sleepyhead, and Figgy are resident DJs every first Friday at Lot 45, Bushwick.
